We are a group of about 400 National Trust members and volunteers in the area roughly bounded by Christchurch, Lymington, Hythe and Ringwood, and including New Milton, Highcliffe, Brockenhurst and Lyndhurst.

Friends of Ballard Water Meadow
If you enjoy nature and want to make a valuable contribution to conservation, join Friends of Ballard Water Meadow. We protect the meadow by controlling invasive plants and allowing native species to thrive.

New Milton Lions Club
Our aim is to empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs and encourage peace and international understanding. The Lions motto is ‘to serve’ our community and we do this by raising funds and giving freely of our time. Furthermore, every pound that we collect is a pound that will go to the causes we support because all administration costs are met from our own pockets or sponsorship.

Maritime Volunteer Service
We provide training to our members in maritime skills – from sailing, communication to safety and support. We can enable you to get the skills to learn to become confident and safe on the water – working towards official Royal Yacht Association (RYA) courses. Covering Lymington river and the Solent, from Southampton Water to Christchurch Bay.
New Forest Live at Home
We are a charity offering support and friendship to local older people living in their own homes; helping to maintain independent living, improve well-being and reduce isolation.
We are establishing various groups, pub lunches, day trips, befriending and activities across the New Forest District for the over 60s

New Forest MENCAP
We provide four leisure sessions a week in New Milton and Brockenhurst. These include evenings of activities, socialising opportunities and daytime outings during the year. We now offer daytime creative activities and a lunch club.
We have an inspirational Gateway Award scheme which is based along the lines of the Duke of Edinburgh Award.

New Milton Friends Group
For a great opportunity to help local good causes, join our fundraising group. We help a wide range of good causes in and around the town of New Milton, situated between the coast and the New Forest in beautiful south Hampshire. We organise fundraising activities such as quiz nights, car boots and tribute acts.
New Milton Sands Women’s Insititute (WI)
We are women that meet once a month with a speaker or demonstration. We also have lots of small groups eg. book club, film club, craft club etc

The New Milton Residents’ Association (NMRA)
This association is a great way to have a voice on developments and activities in New Milton, Ashley, Bashley and Barton on Sea. The aim is to highlight important issues and make New Milton a better place to live, work and play.
Membership is just £3 pa per household – which includes subscription to Focus each month.

If you like the idea of short-break coach holidays and day outings with a friendly group, then come and talk to us. Our members organise short trips, in the UK, for our members – using long established holiday tour operators.

New Milton Town Partnership
Our aim is to create, develop and promote an overall strategy for the town and work in partnership with the residents, local government, organised voluntary sector and constituted groups, community groups and other bodies to coordinate, develop, initiate, support and prioritise key projects in New Milton.
RNLI – Royal National Lifeboat Institution – New Milton & Barton Sea
Our team of community fundraising volunteers in and around New Milton and Barton On Sea raise vital funds for the RNLI through Souvenir and Christmas Card Sales, and organisation of varied local events throughout the year. If you live in the New Milton area, and would like to support the RNLI, please come and join us. We would love for you to get involved or hear your ideas for new events. Help is always appreciated!

We are a non-political, non-religious group of men and women who embrace the opportunity to serve our local communities. Being a Rotarian is not all hard work because we have great fun when helping others and we also organise a number of activities for our own enjoyment.
